Living with multiple sclerosis is like a box of chocolate. You never know how it will affect you the next minute, hour, or day. I refuse to let MS control my life...what about YOU.

YES WE CAN
I am THANKFUL to ALL AMERICANS who voted for Barack Obama on the content of his character and not the color of his skin.
Me too. I was out Tues. and everone I passed I asked, "Did you vote?" All "yes!" Black people, we shaed a special smile and by God they stood taller. I always have felt close to the soul of my black friends over the years, celebrities, advocates, but I saw such a physical, visual difference---I didn't "know" enough. I feel bad about all I missed...and good that I will never forget Nov.4, 2008 and all I learned. PS--my county went 71% Obama. Over 4,000 people came out into the streets a few blocks from my home to cry/cheer/hug/laugh/sing, no arrests just pure love and joy.

I am glad to be alive to see this. It was truly amazing.

It was a beautiful to witness history. President elect Obama has his work cut out for him. He will be scrutinized like no other President before him.
I wish him the best and I pray for his safety.
